Since my dad had no ethnic background other than being white British, I was inspired to embrace my heritage. I was inspired to finally show my pride in representing an Asian community by naming my project after my Mandarin name. He taught me to always be proud of myself.

​I'm a huge fan of thrillers and psychological horror films, no matter how spooky they are. Again, my dad is a major influence on my taste in film and even music.

​The summer has been filled with me using various old digital cameras and I've been so excited to incorporate them into my film portfolio. Currently, I have a love for nostalgic visuals, and have been collecting various old digital cameras.

​Since I have an Asian background, red is such a powerful, lucky, and eye-catching colour, which is why you see lots of it in my portfolio.
